Below are the quilting services I typically provide. But if you don't see something that you are looking for, please feel free to contact me--I'm certainly open to considering additional quilt related services and will honestly let you know if a referral elsewhere may be in your best interests.
Services 1. T-Shirt Quilts
T-shirt quilts are memory quilts--built upon T-shirts you provide. They can reflect school, Scouts, clubs, sports,hobbies,favorite bands. You pick the colors you want to frame your T-shirts, and I design how to "fit" your T-shirt logos to the size quilt you desire. Depending upon the size quilt you desire and the size of the T-shirt logos used, you will need to provide me with 16-20(lap quilt), 20-24 (twin), 24-30+(full-queen)shirts. All fabric, T-shirt stablizer, batting, and backing, assembly,quilting and binding are included in the 11 cents/square inch price. If you desire, a label for the quilt back (corner)will also be included. Allow 5-6 weeks after receipt of the T-shirts to make and quilt.
Services 2. Custom Quilting
Pantographs: "pantos" are an all-over, edge-to-edge design.
Price ranges from 1 1/2cent/sq.in. for less dense
pantos to 2 cents/sq. in. for a denser panto.
Border-to-Border: like "pantos" this is an all-over design within
borders, with borders done seperately. Price
ranges from 2 1/4 cents/sq. in. to
2 3/4 cents/sq. in. depending on border
design.
Custom Quilting: For your "heirloom" quilt. Includes a variety
of designs and styles to highlight your
piecing. Price ranges from 3-7 cents/sq in.
depending upon density and complexity of
quilting and number of thread changes used
(most of these quilts require approximately
20-40 hrs of quilting depending on design)
Services 3. Other services
Basting for Hand quilting: 1/2cent/sq. in.
Machine attach straight binding (for you to finish by hand):
1 cent per linear inch.
I can provide backing fabric and batting (Washable wool or Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly) Contact me for pricing.
Extra charges will be incurred for rush deadline; specialty threads; squaring customer provided batting/backing; repairs; multiple thread colors/types. Insured shipping will be at the actual cost.
