Almost Surviving!

Trying hard to get this new knee working well. My PT says there's only about a 6-7 week window of regaining range of motion--and I'm about 3 1/2 weeks after surgery. Working hard on my home PT exercises, even though a couple really hurt! And to add insult to injury, I managed to bring home a major league headcold from the hospital. Been battling it for 12 days now and yesterday my Dr. called in a Rx for me since it's now become a sinus/ear infection! But I think that means I'll be on the mend soon and it will all make the knee rehab go much easier, too.

I'm as ready for Christmas as I'm going to be! The quilt (Purple Haze, err...Purple Prairie Stars) that I made for my Church to hold a raffle was won by my daughter! Actually she doesn't know it yet--all the tickets I bought either had my son's or daughter's names on them--and one of them won. I think she will be pleased when she gets it at Christmas (I know--that's kind of cheating on presents!) as she's a K-State gal and really wanted the quilt when I made it. Here's another picture of it.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. My plan is to be able to get back on the long arm after Christmas--pushing hard for that!
