Back to the Quilting Frame after a long Holiday Season!
Can't believe it's been over 2 months since I last posted! I did work on some family Christmas presents of quilts in December but could not post them in order not to ruin the surprise. Can you believe I forgot to give them to the recipients when I saw them at Christmas?! Those 4 bed quilts and one table runner have been homed now.
January has brought much to-do with the Miami Co. Quilters Guild. I am one of 4 teachers for the beginners classes. The classes started a week ago and we'll have 5 Saturdays where the 27 participants will learn all the basics of piecing and finishing a quilt.
The other Guild related activity I've been busy with is quilting the 2020 Opportunity Quilt. This design uses the Quick Curve Ruler (mini) and lots of patience! It finishes as a queen size and tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. It will homed at the Sept. Miami Co. Quilters' Guild annual quilt show but you don't have to be there to win the raffle. In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures to whet your appetite!
