"And I'm back on the quilt frame"
Have we recovered from all the excitement of the KC Regional Quilt Fest? Want more pictures of quilts displayed? (guess who forgot to charge her camera battery!) Check it out on the Facebook page--just gorgeous quilts!
Doesn't seem like I've
managed to get much quilting done in the last 3 weeks--first just needed to recuperate physically from 4 days of quilt show!, then get ready for the kids and family for the 4th, so just really getting back to either machine this past week. I did get little more work done on my daughter's Storm at Sea--the one that grew from 56 12" blocks to 190 9" blocks--but at least it will have that "circular" illusion now--if I ever finish it!
I also got a couple of Vet's appreciation quilts quilted and one for a customer. So now I have my "Points? Points!? We Don't Need no Stinking Points!" quilt on the frame. And yes, that name says much about it! and despite lots of sketching of designs, my corner stones did not work as expected--so it's "rip-it" time tomorrow.
In the meantime here's a quilt for you to see. Happy quilting!
