Retreat Time!

Last week we hosted our 2 and 3 yr old grandsons (oldest stayed with another relative in order to attend school) while our daughter-in-law was hospitalized for testing on her seizure disorder. All went well with the medical tests, and the grandparents survived the preschoolers! Actually they are two great little boys, very well behaved and fun to have stay, although by the end of 4 days we were both exhausted and they never run out of energy! We visited Powell Pumpkin Patch in Louisburg with the 2 of them and our daughter as a last day special event.

So this next week I get to go to a 3 day guild retreat! Really hoping I can get several projects moved along--some for Christmas presents and some that have just been languishing for some time. Besides all the sewing I hope to get done, what fun to be with some fun ladies, too!

I am having to replace the wheels on my Gammill Long Arm--ordered the replacements on Friday and hopefully they will be here by the time I get home from the retreat as have some customer quilts to quilt. Big investment, but needed and hope that these new, aftermarket wheels really deliver as promised!
